GHANA AND GB FOODS DEEPEN PARTNERSHIP TO BOOST AGRO-INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT

The Ambassador of Ghana to the Kingdom of Spain, H.E. Kulsoume Sinare Baffoe, has reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to supporting strategic private sector investment following a meeting with senior officials of GB Foods Spain at the Embassy in Madrid.

The discussions focused on the company’s ongoing investment in Ghana, particularly its plans to develop a large-scale tomato production project in the Afram Plains aimed at strengthening local value addition, enhancing food security, creating jobs, and reducing dependence on imported tomato concentrate.

GB Foods reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Ghana and commended the Embassy for its continued support in facilitating its operations and engagements with Government institutions.

Ambassador Baffoe welcomed the company’s confidence in Ghana and assured the officials of the Embassy’s continued support in promoting partnerships that contribute to Ghana’s industrialisation and agricultural transformation agenda.
