Ghana, represented by the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) in collaboration with the Federation of Association of Ghana Exporters (FAGE), participated in the Fruit Attraction Fair 2025 at IFEMA, Madrid, from 30 September to 3 October.
The Fruit Attraction Fair is one of the largest international trade exhibitions for the fruit and vegetable sector, bringing together producers, exporters, importers, retailers, logistics companies, and policy stakeholders from Europe and beyond. The 2025 edition attracted participants from more than 120 countries, providing a global platform for showcasing products, networking, and exploring investment opportunities for the agriculture sector
At the Ghana Pavilion, exporters showcased a variety of produce including fresh coconut, pineapples, yam, dried fruits, and other non-traditional exports. The platform provided opportunities to:
- Promote Ghana as a reliable source of tropical fruits;
- Engage in B2B meetings with Spanish and European buyers;
- Explore investment in cold-chain logistics, packaging, certification, and processing.
Ambassador Regina Appiah-Sam in her meeting with official delegation noted that Ghana’s presence reinforces our country’s strong reputation in the EU market and reflects our commitment to diversifying exports through high-quality agribusiness.
